FIRST VERSION RULES

• Any live cell with fewer than three live neighbors dies

• Any live cell with two or three live neighbors lives on to the next generation.

• Any live cell with more than three live neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation.

• Any dead cell with exactly 0 live neighbors becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

Second VERSION RULES

• Any live cell with fewer than five live neighbors dies

• Any live cell with five or ten live neighbors lives on to the next generation.

• Any live cell with more than ten live neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation.

• Any dead cell with exactly 0 live neighbors becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

THIRD VERSION RULES
